Infinitree"
Has multi meanings and is very spiritual for me. We all know
about trees, how old they can be, and their function on this earth, without them
there is no air, hence, the many art works throughout history and even now with
the "Tree of Life" theme.
When The Celts came into their Christian age, aside from the complexity of their
knotwork, their knotwork art was neverending, for to end a knot would be finite,
and that would not be honoring God because God IS Infinite.
With this piece, I also painted this neverending knotwork for the same reasons.
